Shen Yun brings to life 5,000 years of Chinese civilization through classical Chinese dance and music in an exhilarating brand new show you will never forget.
Shen Yun captures the spirit of a culture long lost. The show moves quickly through regions, dynasties, and legends. Ethnic and folk dances fill the stage with color and energy. Tremendous athleticism, thunderous battle drums, and masterful vocalists are all set to animated backdrops that transport you to another world.
It is a grand production with nearly 100 artists, 400 costumes, and the only orchestra in the world featuring both classical Western and Chinese instruments as permanent members.
Shen Yun is the first company to present classical Chinese dance to the world on a large scale and it has taken the globe by storm, performing in over 100 cities. Shows in top venues, like New York's Lincoln Center, are sold out. Every year, Shen Yun Performing Arts unveils an entirely new lineup of dances, songs, and musical scores that offers an exhilarating world-class production on a grand scale.
Think of it as a journey into a long-lost world you cannot see anywhere else - from ancient legends to heavenly palaces to the dusty plateaus of the Middle Kingdom to modern-day human rights epics such as that of Falun Dafa. You cannot even find a show like this in China, where this ancient heritage has been destroyed. But now you can experience it live on stage.
Find out why artists and theatergoers around the world are calling Shen Yun "breathtaking," "mesmerizing," "a miracle," and "inspiring." Allow yourself to be taken away to distant lands and ancient legends. See Shen Yun and discover how you, too, can be inspired.

“It used to be that going to a collectible show meant completing a collection, and that’s still true for some. Today, however, we are seeing our visitors looking for decorative items for their homes, the ingredients to make a cool, vintage item, vintage clothing, tin toys that make a great conversation item in your home, period lighting, furniture and kitchenware from the 1940s and 50s. “As an example, I just found the perfect lighting fixture to match our 1912 house.” noted Christine Palmer, show manager and producer.

At the July Antique & Collectible Show patrons can buy pop collectibles, vintage clothing, glassware, silverware, antique radios from the 1930’s, turn-of-the-century furniture, movie memorabilia, collectible toys, sports memorabilia. If you’re a fan of collectible toys, look for wind-up mechanical toys, porcelain dolls, Star Wars collectibles, Sci-Fi books and comics and much more. If you grew up in the 1970’s –– sit-coms and movies bring back similar memories. The July show makes those childhood memories come to life, with items for sale from vendors featuring antique toys, from toy trucks, planes and trains to 1860s cast-iron toys, German and Japanese tin-toys and steel mechanical banks.

Do you have treasures in your attic? Expert appraisers will be on hand to identify and evaluate show patrons individual pieces if brought to the show. Its only $7.00 per item (with show admission). These market evaluations are offered by ISA appraisers (the top in the industry), and proceeds benefit the local food banks.

For the past 34 years, the Christmas Bazaar has been a day-after-Thanksgiving tradition for thousands of families! And for good reason, you can find hundreds of handcrafted gifts made by local and regional artisans and craftspeople. The handcrafted sections of the show are juried, so only the best-of-the-best is allowed to display. The entire show is filled with hundreds more gift ideas as well; it’s the most complete gift show of its kind in the Northwest.
This show is a great way to exchange the frantic shopping environments of the malls to strolling down the aisles at the Expo Center where you’ll find the perfect blend of made-by-hand items. Holiday music provided by K103 is the perfect background for picking up distinctive stocking stuffers, as well as grand gifts, gadgets and good deals. Visiting Santa’s Village and taking a ride on the beautiful carousel add to the experience. The vendors who fill the 900 booths at the show have been working on their gifts, toys, treats and decorations since early last year (much like a big red elf we all know).
For the past 32 years, America’s Largest Christmas Bazaar has been on the forefront of helping the hungry during the holidays. On Friday, December 4th – bring two cans of food (per person) and get free entry to the show. The Christmas Bazaar has provided more than two tons of food for the Portland Police’s Sunshine Division every year since 1985.
